On this happy occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Stella Maris High School, I am extremely happy to send you Hearty Congratulations, warm greetings and prayerful good wishes to the Correspondent, Headmistress, Staff and Students.
It is indeed an occasion for celebration as Stella Maris completes 60 years of committed and dedicated service to the youth of our nation, in liberating them from ignorance and transforming them to be better citizens of tomorrow.
You truly deserve our sincere appreciation for the valuable contribution you have made to our society for six decades in imparting value based education to thousands of students.
At this juncture it is good to reflect on the path traversed and the tasks yet to be completed. What are the challenges the modern society places before you? The urgent need today is to liberate people from prejudices, hatred, intolerance, rampant sectarian tendencies, injustices prevalent in our country today.
On this unique occasion I invoke God's abundant blessings on the Management, the Headmistress, Staff and Students and wish them every success in all their future endeavours. I urge you to rededicate yourselves to the task of making the School an authentic instrument of building-up a new human society based on the values of universal brotherhood that the Gospel teaches.
